July Fourth In Skokie Features Parade, Fireworks

Celebrate the birthday of the United States of America with the 30th annual Skokie Fourth of July Parade beginning at noon on Thursday, July 4 in Skokie. The parade takes place rain or shine. Due to construction in Downtown Skokie, this year's parade will be routed differently. The start of the parade begins on Lincoln Avenue at Howard Street heading south to Skokie Boulevard. Once on Skokie Boulevard, the parade will head north to Oakton Street, then east on Oakton Street to Oakton Park. Please click here to view a parade route map. Spectacular Fireworks at Niles West High School

The Fourth of July fun continues at Niles West High School, 5701 Oakton Street, beginning at 5 p.m. when the grounds open for picnics. Musical entertainment begins at 6 p.m., and spectacular, 3-D fireworks are scheduled for dusk.
