Who's Marching in the Skokie July 4 Parade?
Will there be an elephant? Marching bands? Those folks whizzing around on their flying carpets?
Skokie's Fourth of July parade kicks off at noon on Thursday July 4, and will take a different route this year.
To avoid downtown construction, the parade will begin at Lincoln Avenue at Howard Street heading south to Skokie Boulevard. Once on Skokie Boulevard the parade will head north to Oakton Street, then east on Oakton Street to Oakton Park. View the parade route map.
