Yes, It's Open On July Fourth

There are lots of places for your family and friends to go to have a great time on July Fourth. Here's a list, with open hours.



If the Skokie parade, and the fireworks at Niles West High School, aren't enough for your family, there's plenty more to do on this holiday.

Skokie Park District

  • Devonshire Pool and Oakton Pool are open 11 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. July 4. Season pass holders may enter at 10 a.m.
  • Weber Park Golf Course is open 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Fitness First health club at Weber Park is open 7 a.m. to noon.
  • Sports Park, with mini-golf and batting cages, is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. It's on Oakton and McCormick. 

Niles Park District

  • Mini-Golf and Batting Cages at Pioneer Park, Touhy and Harlem Avenues, Niles, are open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July Fourth.
  • Tam O'Shanter Golf Course on Howard Street, Niles, is open 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Oasis Fun Center pool is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on July 3 and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on July 4.
Morton Grove Park District
  • Harrer Pool, Dempster and Fernald, is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Prairie View Fitness Center is closed.
