Main Street Shut Down Today Due To Water Main Break
Cars are being detoured until the village can reopen the eastbound traffic flow.
The east bound lane of Main Street between Kilpatrick and Kenton Avenues in Skokie is closed today, Monday, December 9, the village of Skokie said.
The closure was caused by a water main break on a private line. The village is detouring traffic and hopes to reopen the road by the end of the day. It also said road restoration activities will likely take place in the next few days, which are expected to result in additional closures.
