Niles Township Pantry Calls For More Holiday Volunteers

With Christmas and Hanukkah around the corner, the is calling for additional volunteers to help with its holiday events. The request comes on the heels of .

According to an e-blast sent by director Cynthia Carranza, volunteers are needed on Friday and Saturday to bag produce, compile holiday bags, and run stations for the pantry's distribution event. Volunteers can come by from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, and can call Carranza to coordinate times for Saturday, as well as Sunday.

In addition to toys, the pantry is in seeking donations of Hanukkah decorations, as well as wrapping paper, tape, labels and bows.
