Skokie’s Students Walk to Raise Funds for Ghanaian Children

McCracken Middle School students raised more than $5,000 to help fund essential resources for children in Ghana.

For the fourth time, Skokie students walked a three-mile round trip to raise funds for impoverished children in Ghana, Skokie Review reported.

Students at McCracken Middle School raised about $5,200 as part of Aiding Children Together’s fourth walkathon, not including the $1,500 from soccer star Patrick Nyarko, Skokie Review reported.
