- If you're perspiring, what about the polar bears? Learn the latest on global warming when Oakton Community College screens Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth" with an update. Tuesday evening.
- Relationships--they're complicated. See how Shakespeare untangled one in a live performance of "The Taming of the Shrew" Aug. 31 and Sept. 1.
- Friday marks the start of the Labor Day weekend. Woo hoo!
- Looking ahead: When you bounce back from Labor Day next Tuesday, Sept. 3, be aware that Rosh Hashanah starts super-early this year: on the evening of Weds. Sept. 4. Calendars list the holiday as Sept. 5, but all Jewish holidays start the evening before at sunset.
