Explore Korean Culture With Dance, Song, Food This Weekend
Here's your guide to weekend events, including the kickoff to a Korean culture series, a "Fresh Prince" trivia contest, piano standards, a kids program on animals in winter, and more.
- Know your "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" trivia? Then enter the team trivia contest at Playbook Sports Bar Thursday evening. The winning team can win $300 as the 90s come to life.
- The Niles Historical Society screens a black and white Cary Grant flick, "The Bishop's Wife," and holds a white elephant raffle. 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
- Can you stump "Stu the Piano Guy" by requesting a pop song or classic standard he doesn't know? The only way to find out is to come to MGPL After Dark Friday evening and ask him.
- Tots 3 and older can learn how animals and birds survive the frigid winter in "Winter Lifestyles of the Furred and Feathered," Sunday afternoon at Emily Oaks Nature Center in Skokie.
- The kickoff of "Coming Together in Skokie and Niles Township," a two-month-long series of events celebrating and exploring Korean culture, is Sunday at 2 p.m. at Niles West. There will be entertainment and food.
