I ave been calling this place off and on during my pregnancy to try to see if I qualify before he as born... well now he's here and just like before no one answers the phones. I have yet to talk to ANYONE!!!... Hellooooo... does anybody work here, and if so can this office be reported to the better business bureau???... I think I'll try.

I have been calling all day and the phone just rings and rings. Seriously!?!?!?! No phone system, no receptionist, nothing!?!? SO horrible!!!

I was supposed to have a phone interview on 10/14 but no one called. I called over a dozen numbers non-stop for 5 hours, and being told flat out by 3 different women that they WOULD NOT help me cause they were not my case worker, I finally was able to get some information from a man who REFUSED to give me his name. All I asked him was why my case worker never called and if my application had been processed. His exact words were "Maam, I am just on the phone. If you are going to ask me all these questions - I cannot answer, I am just on the phone." Whatever that means. I only asked him to check my application status! He eventually told me my application for medical and snap had been approved through February. A couple weeks later I did receive my med card but 33 days later I still do not have any snap benefits even though my case is listed as active for food stamps. I tried calling the office and of course no one answers and the automated system sends you through a "press 3, press 5, press 2" type loop until it finally says "all agents are busy please try your call later" and hangs up on me EVERYTIME. The agents there are rude and act like you are taking money out of their own pockets. They treat you horribly (when you are able to finally get one of them on the line or in person) and make you feel ashamed of yourself for asking for help. The only pleasant person I spoke to was the receptionist who couldnt give me any info but at least she wasnt mean to me.

Its very disappointing to know that this services do not even bother to care, they should not have given me a scheduled for phone interview if they can't call or just forget to do it. I have waited for so many hours but never got a call from any caseworker. and i have been calling their office but no answers and their mailbox is full! This is full of crap!

They never called for my phone interview and they do not answer their phone!!!

I have re-applied for benefits 6 times since the beginning of July and since I have no cash or food, I was supposed to qualify for immediate assistance and was supposed to have someone call me! No one has called in over a month and I have no food for me OR my one year old daughter. You can never get through when calling their office and its really ridiculous. Good to know that Illinois wants babies to starve to death. Good going! Effin jerks

I was supposed to have a phone interview today and the caseworker never called. Then I called from 3:00-3:30 and never got an answer- I tried other numbers, and mailbox was full. I waited weeks for this. As I sit here with no food, this is very agonizing.

i have seen horribles places in my life time , just about in each corner of the world ,without any doubts this is the top one, and the customer service without any doubs are most arrogante individual that i have seen ,I guess is a trademark for Govement Employess

I sat home waiting for phone inetrview 3 hrs ,none call me ,try to contact them via Phone ,the mail box is fulll mtry several day ,always full

This place is absolutely horrible!!! Impossible to contact or reach anyone!!! No help whats so ever !!!! Calling is totally pointless!!!!! No one ever gives any help!!! SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN!!!!

This place should be shut down!! What a joke! The employes there don't care and don't even bother trying to call,pointless..Head over there and be prepared to sit and wait for hours with no positive outcome..how could the state let this happen to people..sad

Service is horrible, If they actually answerd the phones or returned calls maybe it would help! I have been trying to contact my case worker for 3 WEEKS...Left 4 messages and for the past week I have been calling and NO ANSWER!!!! I am currently on the phone calling them and it has been ringing for 48 minutes now! Will someone please get these incompetant clowns out of this office and hire someone who can do their job!!!! This is pathetic, rediculous and uncalled for!!!
