This place was extremely rude to my husband on Sunday ( 03-18-12 ). He took one bite and didn't like the cheeseburger, so he told the waitress. The waitress said okay I'll take it off the bill. The manager ( who was unprofessionally dressed, not clean shaven, etc. ) told my husband that he HAD TO PAY for the burger and that he was wasting food and the only reason why he didn't want it is b/c he asked for the child size but was told her could not have it. I smelled the burger and didn't like the smell either. I told the manager we weren't paying and we began to argue too. I told him that he takes it off the bill or I don't pay at all! My husband was ready to call the police and the manager said fine call them! He then went to talk to another lady ( manager / owner?? ) and continued to be rude in front of us as well as a restaurant full of people. And the lady agreed with him, that my husband was the 1% of customers who is NOT right. It was the worst experience in the world! I will never go there again and I believe there was racial profiling done since my husband is of middle eastern decent.

Erin, Sorry you had a bad experience, but the race card, really? The Bagel has quite a few Middle Eastern employees and certainly customers.
I've never had anything but wonderful, friendly service, love the food and not mentioned in the review are the massive soups, about a half gallon, served in a glass mixing bowl. You'll take home more than half of it and get two three meals.
The chopped liver - mmmmn! And the treats in the bakery and carry out can add pounds, just by looking.....
And The Bagel has been very supportive of LGBT causes - (among many, I'm sure). Bravo!
