This place has awesome burgers and great variety on their menu for an Irish pub. The wait staff is very good---and the woman that mangages the place---Lydia---is great and accomodating. They also fry their french fries in olive oil-delcious. All in all, top notch.
The Curragh Irish Pub & Restaurant

With five TVs and a respectable variety of beers, The Curragh is a great spot to watch the game. Try the traditional Irish pub fare of fish and chips, shepherd's pie or bangers and mash. The nice-sized patio is open-air in the warm weather and heated during the colder months.

Thank you for the review! And I agree, this is a great local bar to hang out, especially in the summer when the patio is open.
Valentine's dinner at Curragh Irish Pub...
Curragh is not only a bar, it also is a kid-friendly place to eat. The food is always fresh and hot. My favorite is the Shepherd's Pie.The toughest decision I have is deciding which dinner to order. If you have guests and want to impress them, head over there.
For eating options there are tables by the bar and also the back enclosed, heated patio. The outdoor patio is great for the summer.
For Valentine's dessert I was disappointed to miss the Nutella crepe on the menu. Until I tasted the Strawberries and Cream dessert. What a Valentine gift that was. Thank you, Curragh!
This hidden gem in downtown Skokie is like a trip to the U.K. without the airfare. The heated patio is great, as are the three big screen tv's with sports. The prices are reasonable and you won't find friendlier servers.
Whether you go there for the bar or the food or both, you won't be disappointed. Once you go you will come back again and again.

THE BEST ATMOSPHERE!
