Touching story! I think most of the marriages from WWII era lasted long compared to these days. RIPRead More Mr. & Mrs. Gay...

Charles-I agree with you but marriage has been redefined. I think households worked better whenRead More roles were more established. We will not see those days again.

Dan, I also agree with you. The leave it to beaver days worked. God only knows what will happen inRead More the next 30 yrs. My parents were married for 51 yrs when my dad passed. I can't imagine being with my husband that long (joking).

another useless article
Patch reinstates deleted accounts! March 15, 2014 at 01:07 pm
@LuisL: Kind of a cold comment, don't you think? It's not "useless" to his family &Read More friends...

Yes, I agree. I didn't mean to make my comment sound like it did. I live in Parsippany and thisRead More article appeared in our local patch. It is useless to the readers of Parsippany. I was stating that Parsippany Patch went downhill with no local news for Parsippany. Parsippany is the largest town in Morris County... and there is plenty of events going on and Patch seems to put news from all other towns in Parsippany Patch. Sorry if I offended anyone, especially the family.. I really didn't mean it the way it sounded.
