Jessie White, 25, of Chicago, is accused of attacking a mom outside of St. Pancratius Church.
K. Thom. June 23, 2014 at 11:50 am
Why do so many people refuse to believe that evil exists in this world? If White had a gun it wouldRead More be all over the news how a mom was murdered by a gun, not the person using the gun. If she had had a gun and shot him we would proba ly never have known about this story.

When are they going to close this filthy establishment down?! It's attracting the wrong people!Read More judging by the condition the parking lot is always in I can only imagine how nasty the inside of that place is. Years ago I remember attending many birthday parties there and it was a great place but of course the wrong people have to ruin everything. I'd love for that place to close! Nothing but trouble and as a member of the community I wish they would keep their nonsense in their own neighborhoods!

She was right handed; but they found NO residue on her right hand.??? That sounds Very Strange. ButRead More they Did find it on her Left hand??? That sounds even more Strange. When you shoot a 9mm there is a recoil & the gun would have fallen out of her hand (when she died) the muscles would have relaxed. So then the gun would have fallen to her Right, on the Couch or it would have bounced off the Couch & onto the Floor. But they found it in Front of her, on her Lap????. That also sounds Very Strange!!! It sounds like a MURDER to me. They should have gone back to the scene, checked the sink & the pipes for gunshot residue. Were her Fingerprints even on the Gun??? It sounds like Sloppy Police work or a White Wash, or a Cover up!!!

Steven. It could just be so that there is a "record" of something which could beRead More considered hate speech. If that car, or individual were to return at least the police would have a description and something to possibly go on. It's true they can't give the individuals tickets for being stupid and ignorant. Agree about the free speech, it's just not nice.

Chicago Magazine recently published a 2-part series regarding the widespread cover-up of growingRead More violent black on white crime in Lakeview and the rest of Chicago, a cover-up emanating from the Mayor and all his flunkies. Yet the insipid editors of Lakeview Patch spend their time writing about nonsense when the lives and property of Lakeview residents are increasingly endangered by roving gangs of black thugs intent on turning Lakeview into another Englewood. Lakeview Patch is not relevant to the real world and not worth reading.

Unsecured loans for tenants are designed <aRead More href="http://3monthpaydayloansb.co.uk/">easy loans</a> for people in rented property , with the obvious reason that these people do not have a property to act as security fortheir loans. This can often mean that tenants will struggle to get loans from banks or high street supermarkets. Given their location , these types of customersoften characterized by inappropriate interest . In such cases, unsecured loans are one of the best alternatives if you have a good credit rating andable to demonstrate that you create afford the repayments , you have a good chance accepted.Unsecured loans initially by the specialized lenders and <a href="http://3monthpaydayloansb.co.uk/">payday loans no broker</a> introduced highBanks Street, originally created to help non-homeowners and those with negative credit in the past. Don't think people should immediately jump on the innocent bandwagon. Article states that newRead More evidence called into question the science that led to her conviction. Does't automatically mean she is innocent.
ReaditandSpeak May 4, 2014 at 08:45 am
I find it interesting that she is "not bitter" over the time spent in jail, and thoseRead More years lost with her family. In my opinion only, a truly innocent person would have felt cheated. I think she's just relieved she finally seems to be getting away with it.
Thomas Mc May 4, 2014 at 11:49 am
Judges won't release someone from prison awaiting a new trial if they don't think the case was bs.Read More Normally, people in prison await the new trial from prison or await the decision in prison by the prosecutor's office to retry the case or dismiss it. She is only saying she is not bitter because that is PR. She will be found innocent or the prosecutor will quietly dismiss the case...then she will sue and win a settlement. It's better to say she is not bitter now so as not to look like she is preparing to sue. The people thinking she is guilty should be pissed at prosecutors when they find out there really is little to no evidence to keep her behind bars...and that we will have to pay a settlement. For those who don't remember, dozens of people who worked at daycares in the Chicagoland area were convicted of hurting, molesting, and causing death in children under their care in the 80s and 90s only to have convictions overturned later. It was easy for state's attorneys to prosecute these kinds of cases with minimal evidence...it's emotional and people always need to blame someone for something tragic that happens to our kids.

What if it was a human body that the squad was "Mounted" on? Would you dismiss it also, Scum? I was told by a woman who counsels officers that 75-80% of all officers suffer from mental illness. It pisses me off seeing adults comment on these articles as if you know everything. You hide behind your "clever" usernames and attack others with different opinions. Yet another case of these young 63-year-old whippersnappers driving like maniacs, just to impressRead More the other youngsters in their street gangs. That driver passed me on Main so erratically (and with the smashed in windshield)that I immediatelyRead More called in to 911 and stayed with the dispatcher as the driver crossed into the opposite lane, ran stop at Asbury and red lights at Dodge and McCormick where an unmarked police car pulled in right behind her, closely followed by two Evanston police cars. Thank God more people were not hurt!!
