The man's newlywed wife reported him missing, but he was already in police custody - for soliciting a prostitute.
A 21-year-old Lincolnwood man was charged with soliciting a prostitute - on his honeymoon. Mohammed Ahmed, of the 4400 block of Estes Avenue, was charged with soliciting a prostitute in Orlando, Fla., according to the Polk County Sheriff's Department. According to authorities, Ahmed's wife called police and reported her husband missing when he didn't return to their hotel suite. She would later realize he was in police custody after he was arrested by an undercover cop, according to the Huffington Post. Kevin Maguire was held on $25,000 bond after he reacted to an argument with his parents by pouring gasoline on the floor of their home and igniting it, according to chicago.cbslocal.com. Inverness Woman Charged in Decades Old Murder Former Inverness resident Jacquelyn Greco, 66, was charged with arranging the murder of her husband in 1979. Greco, of Crystal Falls, Michigan was charged with first degree murder of her husband, Carl Gaimari. Police said Greco was having an affair and planned her husband's death. Police said that Greco had a burglary staged. On April 30, 1979, two men entered the residence and stated they were robbing the home. Police said the two men ordered Greco and the couple's three children – ages 13, 5, and 2 – into a bedroom, tied them up and locked them in a closet. A March search of a property once associated with serial killer John Wayne Gacy found no concealed graves, Cook County Sheriff Thomas J. Dart announced Friday, May 10. Sheriff Dart searched the location after new information was developed that Gacy was engaged in suspicious activity outside the apartment building in the 6100 block of West Miami Ave in Chicago, Ill. His mother once lived in the building, and in the mid-1970’s Gacy was hired to maintain the building grounds at the West Miami property. Although the property had been previously searched by the Chicago Police Department, new information brought to Sheriff’s detectives and improved technology to allow for a noninvasive search motivated the preparation of a search warrant. In what the son of a restaurant founder called a coincidence, a fire ignited at Myron & Phil’s steakhouse a short time after its owner passed away in Lincolnwood on Wednesday, CBS Chicago reported. Myron & Phil’s has been operating for more than 40 years, according to CBS Chicago’s report. The blaze erupted in the storage room at Myron & Phil’s, 3900 W. Devon Avenue, at approximately 3 a.m., the Skokie Review reported. Myron & Phil’s is active in the community and participated in Taste of Skokie in 2012. The iconic local steakhouse underwent some remodeling and menu changes, according to Myron & Phil’s website.
