A woman walking home was approached by two men near Knox Avenue and Keeney Street on July 21. One of the alleged suspects was carrying an semi-automatic handgun, police said.
Raymond M. Kasper, formerly of Algonquin, was convicted of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl last year, the "Northwest Herald" reports.

Former assistant superintendent of business for Lincolnwood School District 74 Kevin Nohelty is suing the school board for $250,000 plus the cost of legal fees. Nohelty alleges that he was wrongfully terminated on June 13 by the school board.
