Robbers Targeted iPhone Users in Skokie

A group of teens targeted and assaulted four different people who were using an Apple iPhone over a four day span in Skokie.

Skokie has seen three violent-robberies during a four day span after a group of teens allegedly targeted and robbed people who were using an Apple iPhone during the last week of June. Of the three incidents reported, police have charged three juveniles who allegedly attacked or stole a person's iPhone.  In one instance, a man talking on his iPhone in the 7800 block of Lamon Avenue was attacked after three black teenagers - described to be about 16 to 18-years-old - broke away from a crowd of about 20 people and punched him in the face on June 24 around 4:30 p.m. The man fell and lost his phone, police stated. The man managed to escape, however, and fled toward the 4900 block of Hull Street where he told family and friends what happened. …
