A variety of events are happening at Niles North and Niles West High School this month. Among them, the Niles West Orchestra will be performing live with artist Michael Miles for the premiere of Sundial Suite for Banjo Orchestra. Miles will be performing with the teens this holiday season on Dec. 13 at Niles West High School at 7:30 p.m. Meanwhile, a Niles North student landed an article on the Huffington Post recently. The story, written by North Star News editor Steffie Drucker was titled, College Applications can be Complicated for Mixed Raced Teens. The article was co-written with Kennedy High School.
