Turning Point Skokie Celebrates Million Dollar Grant

From the community ~ Turning Point Behaviorial Health Care Center CEO Ann Fisher Raney proudly announced today the receipt of a $1.2 million grant awarded by the North Suburban Healthcare Foundation.  The grant allows Turning Point to expand services and purchase the adjacent space in their current building.  Currently Turning Point owns 55% of the 40,000 square foot building at 8324 Skokie Boulevard. Turning Point provides comprehensive mental health services to residents in communities throughout metropolitan Chicago. CEO Raney said that Turning Point initially approached the Foundation with a grant request to expand nursing staff.  Foundation representatives met with Turning Point staff for a site visit in spring of 2012, where they …
