Fake Check? The Skokie Currency Exchange said it will file a complaint following a counterfeit check incident that occurred on March 26 and was reported on April 12. A customer came to exchange a cashier's check for $1,540. The check was reviewed by several authorities and deemed to be counterfeit. Sister's Shattered Car A brother reported that the back window to his sister's 2005 red Toyota Corolla had been damaged between April 5 and April 12. He said the car had been fine when he visited last week and had occurred between visits. Trident Strikes Again. . .
