Who is Running For Skokie School Board?
With so many school districts in Skokie, it may be hard to keep track of everyone that is running for school board this April.
The February elections might have created interest among residents seeking board positions with Skokie’s many school districts this April. Fairview District 72 has three seats open but six candidates. Incumbents Vicki Goldberg, Jeff Brill and John Del Genio will be hoping to hold their seats against newcomers Mark Sproat, Peter Gatric Jr. and Glenn Bianchi. Each seat holds a four-year term. While District 72 has more than enough contenders, District 73 – or East Prairie School - is lacking enough candidates. At time of publication, there are only three people running for the four seats available.
