Loyola Alum, Skokie Native Wins World Rowing Honor
Dariush Timothy Aghai could row for the U.S. Olympic team in 2012 or 2016.
Dariush Timothy Aghai, a Skokie native and Loyola Academy graduate, has earned a world champion title in rowing, the Niles-Herald Spectator reports. A senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Aghai led the school's rowing team to 4th place in the 2011 IRA National Championships and was named Wisconsin’s 2010-11 Men’s Athlete of the Year.
