Cops: Employee Set Up Peep Cam in Fitting Room
A 21-year-old sales associate was charged with illegally filming customers at Old Orchard Mall in Skokie on Jan. 10.
After admitting to officers that he was secretly videotaping customers undress in fitting rooms, Sergio Corona said it was because he heard other workers talking about thefts within the store, police said. Corona, 21, of Chicago and a former sales associate at Zara in Old Orchard Mall, was charged with illegally filming customers on Jan. 10. Corona set up his peep cam by attaching a small camera to an article of clothing left inside a fitting room, according to police. The offender admitted to using the camera about seven to 10 times over an 11-day span, police said.
