Dear Janice,
I am so sorry to hear that the library director was fired. I know that he did lots of good things for the library. God help us if the Tea Party people take charge. Who replaced him?
Janice, thank you so much for being a voice of truth...I am so sorry you had to be the taget of wrath coming from people supporting the anti-abotion movement.
I wanted to leave a comment too, but I thought that I will hear lots of insults since I write articles about personal growth and consciousness development.
Thank you again and I stand with you in truth and the freedom of choice.
Sending you love,
Corina

The new library board spent much time in closed session to hire a new lawyer. That new lawyer should not have been at the first closed session since she was not an official person at that point and closed means closed!
They also still don't understand the difference between a levy and a real tax amount. Doubt that they will ever learn.
If you love our library, you need to stand up and fight. They fired our director tonight because he has done such a good job of keeping the library out of the red and working smoothly.
When the colonists had their tea party, they understood what was really going on. These people do not have a clue about how a library works or what its purpose in a community really is.
Their spouses also need to learn about the first amendment to the Constitution and that people have the right to carry on a private conversation without being attacked or sworn at. Maybe a call to the police would have been appropriate!
