Hi,

I am Lynn Brezina, I am a certified professional dog trainer. I am the owner and operator of CompanionAbility LLC.  I teach  obedience and behavior modification to pet dogs and their human companions.  I also consult with the human companions about canine behavior problems.

I started working with dogs in 1972, when I began showing Afghan hounds.  I ended my showing career in the early ’90s, with English springer spaniels.   I expanding my activities with the springers to tracking, hunting and obedience.

It was in the early ’90s, however,  that  I discovered I had much more fun working with other people and their dogs than I had taking my dogs to dog shows.   That is where my passions truly lie.

For reasons somewhat mysterious to me, a border collie worked his way into my life.  I became hooked.  I took him to herd sheep.  I became hooked.  I got another border collie.  I spent more time with sheep.  I got another border collie.  I spent more time with sheep.  Sadly, at the end of the day I have no sheep, nor a place to put sheep, so we stopped that.  The border collies are just pets and part time dog trainer’s assistants, but they seem happy with that.

I have had my share of problems with dogs over the years. As a result, I feel your pain and can commiserate with you.

I live with my husband, daughter, 2 border collies and two cats.
