ReplyI am appalled by this decision. A mobile command post will do nothing to prevent/reduce residential burglaries. It will do nothing to prevent/reduce store robberies. It will do nothing to improve the protection of Skokie taxpayers or the of safety of its officers. This is a BAD decision made by the same people who built the $30,000,000 Taj Mahal on Niles Center Road--while doing nothing to get some return on the old police station property.

We need more police on the street. We don't need a mobile command center.
