Lincolnwood Fest Kicks Off Today With American English

The fun goes from Thursday to Sunday at Proesel Park. Live bands, food, kids' activities, a car show and carnival will keep you entertained.


Lincolnwood Fest opens at 5 p.m. Thursday with entertainment, carnival rides and food vendors, and the band American English takes the stage at 7 p.m.

It's the first night of the festival, which runs Friday from 5 to 11 p.m., Saturday from noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. It's all at Proesel Park, 6900 N. Lincoln Avenue, Lincolnwood. 

Food vendors include: The Village Inn Sports Pizzeria Sports Bar and Grill, Grecian Kitchen, Lee's Concessions, Brain Freeze, Popcorn Jester, Allegretti's Bakery and Taco Factory.

The entertainment lineup includes a wide variety of local bands. 

There's also a carnival, business expo and classic car show.
