Man Attacks Driver Who 'Didn't Turn When He Had Chance'

Disorderly Conduct

• Disorderly Conduct on the 4100 block of Main Street, between January 8th at 9:00 p.m. and January 9th at 12:00 p.m.  Reported:  01/09/2014. An unknown person(s) struck the victim's home with two eggs.

Criminal Damage to Property

• Criminal Damage to property on the 9900 block of Skokie Boulevard, on January 9th at 4:17 p.m.  Reported:  01/09/2014. An angry male subject struck the hood of the victim’s vehicle with a bat because the victim did not turn when he had the opportunity.

Deceptive Practices

• Deceptive Practices on the 5300 block of Oakton Street, on January 7th at 12:00 a.m.  Reported:  01/09/2014. An unknown person(s) stole money out of the victim’s Romanian bank account.

Criminal Defacement of Property

• Criminal Defacement of Property on the 3200 block of Howard Street, on January 10th between 12:20 p.m. and 12: 25 p.m.  Reported:  01/10/2014. An unknown person(s) used blue spray paint to write illegible graffiti on a wall.

Burglary

• Burglary on the 5300 block of Howard Street, on January 10th between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.  Reported:  01/10/2014. An unknown person(s) forced open a door to the home and stole jewelry and cash.

• Burglary on the 9000 block of Bronx Ave., on January 10th between 12:00 p.m. and 8:50 p.m. Reported:  01/10/2014. An unknown person(s) forced open the rear door to the home and ransacked the bedrooms.  Stolen were two Coach purses and one Sony Handycam.

Armed Robbery

• Armed Robbery on the 9000 block of Bronx Avenue, on January 10th between 7:30 p.m. and 7:47 p.m.  Reported:  01/10/2014. Two unknown male subjects wearing ski masks, black hoodies, and black pants robbed the victim at gunpoint while he was walking down the street.  One of the subjects then punched him in the face.  Taken was the victim’s I-phone and hat.

Arrests

• Charlton, Gary Gless, 19, 8140 Kedvale Avenue, was arrested on charges of Battery on the 7300 block of Niles Center Road, on 01/09/2014.  Charlton was arrested after being identified as the subject who punched the victim in the face while he was riding his bicycle.

• Zakayeva, Raya, 58, 2857 N. Richmond, Chicago, was arrested on charges of Criminal Tresspass to Residence and Resist, Obstruct an Officer on the 8100 block of Harding Avenue, on 01/10/2014.  Zakayeva refused to leave her place of employment and resisted police while being arrested.

• Hardison, Christian T., 22, 8348 S. Saginaw, Chicago, was arrested on charges of Retail Theft on the 4900 block of Old Orchard Road, on 01/10/2014.

• Juvenile, 15, Skokie, was arrested on charges of Battery at 5215 Oakton, The Skokie Public Library, on 01/10/2014.

• Juvenile, 14, Skokie, was arrested on charges of Battery on the 4900 block of Hull on 01/10/2014.

Both of the above juveniles were involved in a physical altercation outside the Library.
